Usual ramblings and changing mind constantly on what my next bikes gonna be. To give u an insight, so far I have owned;

* Aprilia RS125 (young pretender years, loved that bike)
* Gas Gas 250 EC (my current off roader, great bike really)
* Kawasaki Z750 (first big bike, was a nice ride till I came unstuck on a corner
* Suzuki SV650S (meh, noisy thing really just easy to cruise about on ATM)
* Triumph Speed Four (best spec'd I've owned really, sets the benchmark for future bikes minus the shit fuel injection)

So I'm just pissing about on an sv650 at the moment waiting for a years ncb to tick over so I can realistically look at getting something il enjoy, but where do I go? Your thoughts?

Here's what I've considered, daytona 675 or GSXR750 in some sexy colour scheme or do I sell my gas gas and go dual sport, really can't decide. Any suggestions for a bike sub 750cc unless its old/down on power (insurance) and preferably less than 5k[/img]

Supermoto the Gas Gas. Hilarious road machine, keep other wheels for off road fun.

Grab yourself something that you will want to use though.

I was a fun bike, so have my monkey bike. I want a fast bike, got my R1 and I want a cheap commuter, got my Vara.

I had my wants, I got what I wanted. Thumbs Up

You've got a good point there buddy, I think that would be hilarious, I do love how cheap and easy it is to run. It won't do long journeys but the odd hoot I'm sure it would! Only issue is finding a spare set of rims!!

Yeah just need to have a look at a road bike that's gonna keep the fire burning, the daytona 675 is the one really but I havnt ridden one yet I'm purely going on looks!!

Keep the Gas Gas, as it's very versatile, and probably won't be worth that much to sell. You can keep it as your off roading tool, and as Paddy says If you want to go out and be a hooligan for an hour on summer evenings, then get some SM wheels and a big front brake set up for it.

If you Loved the Speed four, then I think you'd seriously have to consider a Street Triple or the Big one (speed triple). Much more of a useable all rounder than a sports bike IMO.

Street Triple

My initial thought

I would love a cheap run around.
A light fun 2 stroke supermoto.
Something with handling and go go juice.

Agreed!
If the dude gets his hands on a nice secondhand Street Triple or an R, and keeps the Gas Gas stinkwheel with the SM conversion he's got it all IMO, and 2bikes that would make you grin like a fool at all times! Smile

I am considering going for a WR450 if I can sell the gas gas for a decent amount just because itl cost me a pretty penny to get the gas gas supermoto'd

It has been mentioned the 2 stroke would be a highside waiting to happen
