So I bought some part worn tyres.... off ebay... off this guy.. like lots of people have:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120-70-17-160-60-17-Pirelli-Diablo-Super-Corsa-FZR-400-ZXR-400-SV650-CBR500R-/161017604155

The garage I took them too said there is a bit of bluing on one sidewall and they think they have been over heated and wouldnt fit them unless just riding in the dry...

well I live in france and its a toy so I only ride in the dry... but I'm struggling to figure out how much of a risk this is that im taking...

What are you thoughts on part worn tyre buyers and all the other people that have had them off this guy?

Thanks

Depends how many heat cycles they've had but I wouldn't worry. I've managed to blue the tyres on a c90 so it can't take that much...!

Ones I picked up from them usually have around 5-6mm tread all over, fuck me, they even fitted them for free when I went to collect and mentioned I had the wheels with me Laughing

They are based here - https://goo.gl/maps/GwDWJ

Real nice guys, fuck me do they have a lot of tyres though.. RACKS of the buggers Laughing

My SC BSB's are blue currently and I've only done 500 miles on the road with them Laughing

It's oils in the tyre coming to the surface, normally caused by overheating but they are fine for road use as you won't be pushing them hard.
