...What's everyone got planned?

I'm tinkering on Saturday, got my cub to build / GSXR forks to change. (Probably won't!) Out for a ride on the ST4 and a meal in the evening, and then off to Angmering for a day of Supermoto pit bike racing on the Sunday.

Can't wait!

Painting some railings, possibly BBQ, making sure track bike and trailer are in a working condition for trackday in a weeks time. Probably swearing at broken garage door, too.

Wedding anniversary, so have booked Monday and Tuesday off too. Possibly buying a new car that's down in Somerset, so we'll probably be hitting some B&Bs and do the touristy thing for a bit.

I might do some gardening for the second time in my life ever. Inspired by the rather fit, tanned, long haired hot bloke stood in front of me in tescos the other day - he got into a van for a fencing company and I thought aha, working outdoors, that makes you look good, I'm going to do that Laughing

For my birthday in May, a few friends gave my wife and I a night at a hotel near Tamworth (plus dinner, champagne and breakfast), so we're going to cash that in on Saturday.

With the weather so nice, we'll take the bike and meander up there (from London) all day and take our time on the way back too. I'm going to stop in Thame and Banbury on the way up, but that's more or less random decisions. I'm not familiar with this area of the midlands at all. One of my kids went to university in Loughborough, but we've only just passed through it.

Any suggestions on places to see and things to do along the M40-M42 corridor? I'll be taking A & B roads, mostly, but it's that general area.

Thats not far from me, I used to drive past Angmering and wonder if they allow bikes round.

How much does it cost? Do they supply bikes, or would a CBR600 or chinky125 be suitable? Laughing

This sunday, Im working Sad

They don't supply bikes, race day is first Sunday of every month, about £25 I think for two practice sessions, two races and a mess about afterwards.

That's a 140 pit bike, I've built it to race at Matchams but that's not until next weekend, so I'm going to go play there.

It's on a go kart track. Practice pretty much any day for £25 all day.

Later on I'll take the dogs to the reservoir for a swim then fit the new oil sensor to the duc. Working tomorrow then straight out to Jodrell Bank for the Transmission festival. The rest might be a blur.
