Not sure of extras or mileage, but I'm told it's in mint nick.

Deal or no deal?

EDIT: As mentioned below, I've now found out it's stolen/recovered and the "owner" is waiting for a V5. Once that V5 is in his possession, that's then HIS bike, HIS property, yes? The po-po can't then turn up saying it still belongs to someone else? It's been written off and/or the insurers have paid the original owner out, is that how it works?

Not very savvy on this, so all advice welcome.

If the condition is good then bite his arm off, the K3 thou is a cracking bike, massive lumps of midrange will give a big grin coming out the bends.

I was looking for a K2 and couldn't find one for £2k, so on that basis I'd say bite his hand off. You'll get your money back plus extra even if you use it this summer and flog it when the weather turns.

The K3 is bloody ugly though, much prefer the earlier headlamp and nose cone Sick

I actually quite like the look of 'em, as long as a blue tinted headlight cover isn't fitted!

Turns out it's stolen/recovered and the dude's waiting for the logbook to be delivered. My son in law's a dodgy twat, and so, it would appear, are his mates.

Too good to be true appears to be the maxim here. I'll stick with my original plan of a 929 or 954 'blade...

The price makes more sense now then. Don't touch with a bargepole until the V5 is in the keepers name, but sounds like you know that already.

My mate Daz got his K2 for £1300 Shocked didn't quite realise how much of a steal it was at the time (just to the left of the RC 8 in this pic), if you can get a K3 for £2000 and it isn't a ringer I would go for it!

Supposed to be getting a go of it sometime soon, will be my first go on a litre sportsbike Cool

V5's are NOT proof of ownership, and yes the popo could come and say it's not his/yours. Have you done hpi checks and such on the bike?

Not yet. Still not got details. I'm going back to the original plan of a 929 or 954 Blade. My son in law's an idiot.

As I've said before, mileage isn't a good indicator of bike condition or maintenance history.
A damn good look around/inspection and check of ALL paperwork is needed.
You could see a 7000 mile bike that's been thrashed to shit, never had an oil change, been dropped and repaired, or on the flip side you might get a 30,000 mile bike that's been treated like a gem.

Mileage shows/means Jack shit.
