Really is warm today, glad I still have my Gericke Air gear, kept me really cool and fresh, to think I was contemplating selling them as I wasn't using them much, so glad I changed my mind Very Happy

Alpinestars MX-1 perforated race suit and Arai RX-GP helmet kept me cool today... as long as, like in the film Speed, you STAY ABOVE 50!

As long as you wear a base layer, you'll be fine

my BMW has a dry sump, when the engine is hot it blows warm air out at waist level. In the winter, this is quite welcome.

Today not so. Crying or Very sad

That's nice. Mine blows around my legs. Not so bad when moving with a bit of pace. Wondering if my legs were going to be used for a roast when moving slow or stopped Smile

Anyone who rides with no gloves should burn in hell. Same on a push bike.

If you have almost any ventilation at all, today's weather was not that bad. At 40mph+, there's not a lot of difference between my winter jacket with its front and back venting zips deployed, my summer / touring jacket with ~9 vents deployed, or my el-cheapo Held Airflow jacket (not recommended based on crash-test of matching trousers - rip way too easily). Stop for a moment and the sweat builds up; when you move, you cool down extra-quickly. This weather is only really unpleasant if you're stuck in traffic or otherwise going slowly.

Stay hydrated folks! You don't notice how much you sweat when it's drying instantly in the constant stream of warm air.
