I didn't even know who she was until today, but suddenly the whole world seems to hates her.

The thing they discuss is about a sort of understandable topic - judging children on the names their parents give them. Fair enough there are a few stereotypical scally names. However, this women mentioned a few of the names she particularly doesn't like, notably when someone is named after a location such as 'Brooklyn' or Paris'. But one of her kids is called India. .

Aside from that hilarious failure on her part, she's a horrible snooty bitch who thoroughly believes in class divide and lives strongly by social stereotypes. Just thought I'd share.

I agree there are still blatant factors we can use to point out someone's social background. However the general public do, I think (or hope), have a fair respect for anyone these days, or will at least give someone a chance. Problem with this women is that she's quite overtly supportive of total, discriminate division, as if she lives in a proper India-style caste system. Hence my sharing of the topic. I wanted to drum up some mob hatred .

It's all just faux controversy.

A couple of weeks ago she was saying something similar about tattoos.

I find it really lazy. It attention seeking nonsense to get on TV (and it works - why are we commenting on this nobody?)

If she wants to be really controversial, why not pick a serious subject, etc. See the reaction she gets then.

But she won't - she picks these non subjects (tatoos and names) and tries to create 'offence' and we play along.

She's like a little child saying 'fuck' to a parent and thinking she's edgy, and the parent (us) plays along by saying, 'oh, you can't say that'.

Best bet with ppl like this is to ignore them.
