Ok guys maybe going to look at this little one at the weekend:

https://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b196/FowlersRs/null_zpsd00deb22.png

2000 GSXR 600 SRAD, last of the fuel injected models I believe. Has some reasonable history with it according to the owner, sounds like things like fork seals have been done in 2012. Mileage is 34k which isn't low but he says it's tidy for its age so I'm sure il get a feel for if its a hag or not. Waiting for a reply on MOT and tax,

He's after £1500 with an optimate 3 and a set of leathers thrown in so looks like he's keen for a sale so maybe room for bargaining?

Worth £1500 with 12months mot?
What about a price without MOT? Considerably lower I take it?

£1200 or walk away. K-models are better.

I'd pay £1400 if it was MINT. If there is anything at all wrong with it cosmetically I'd wanna pay £1300 or less IMO. Anything mechanical and I'd walk away.

Personally I think the SRAD 750's are the one to go for, which is why the 600s are one of the only 'cheap' bikes out there at the moment.

Most bikes seem to be going for crazy money right now, apart from things like ZXR750H1's, SRAD 600's, ZX6R J models etc. If it were me I think I'd be going for a J1 ZX6R if I wanted a 600.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

If its geniunelely as mint as he claims scrape a few 100 off and itd be a fair deal i'd say, but i'd give the engine a good listen to with a few revs once its warmed up.

Hopefully the leathers don't smell like last years socks Laughing

As already mentioned, the 750 would be a better buy.
