Shouldn't this be in the 'Found in the loft' section?

"We have used YouTube for a number of years and have found it an invaluable tool to push out good news stories,
crime prevention tips and appeals to the media and the public."

Why am I not surprised that all of the comments are effectively sucking their dick?

That'll be because the dishonest scum are screening all comments and making sure nothing real gets through. Mine was:

"Go catch some burglars. And find my £6000 bike that you never even came to take my statement for. Parasites."

You know how I like numbers...

I went for:
"As far as I can tell that's £123,500 of the £1,000,000 spent in the first 2 years after seizure. What about the rest? Is there any accounting information available on this scheme?"

Flipside of the coin.

PMA is bad news. Seven people are dead.

Proof positive that criminalising drugs means there is big money in drugs and that big money dealers are criminals who don't give a single fuck about their customers. If drugs were legal, they wouldn't have been worth that much money and this would never have happened.

Not the fault of the police in this case, they only enforce the laws that parliament makes. It would be FAR cheaper to ship boxes of genuine MDMA over from Amsterdam than to concoct a cocktail of barely survivable uppers that gives a similar headrush in secret.

Another link off to the side of that was:

My first thought wasn't scumbag dealers. But how impressive is that!
A truck load of time, effort and skill has gone into that.

They clearly don't work for MFI Kitchens.

I didn't mind the story, up until he said the money was essentially being kept an distributed amongst themselves.

If you or I had found that cash, we'd have to hand it over to the police.

If the police find the cash, the police get to keep it!

Thinking

Actually, in fairness I reckon the money will be distributed properly. If a bunch of unimportant BCF bods can get riled about it, you can bet your last pound the local community will be watching the issue like hawks too. So don't worry, Mr Worrypants Mr. Green

Edit:

Nah, fuck it. They'll keep as much as they can. They'll buy a bunch of shite they hardly ever use. Some foreign company will end up with a million pound contract for providing a handful of average-quality satnavs, or some other similarly poor finance decision will be made.

And having laundered the money out, the pigs in on the deal will get fat brown envelopes.
