Good bumps, first time I've seen this thread. Guy Martin hasn't been allowed to race, as he rocked up yesterday and they wouldn't let him practice. Most other big names are there.

Great programme though and it's great riding round the island with all those old bikes on the road, although I prefer to ride a much more modern bike myself, there's definitely something cool about the look, sound and smell of those classics.

How on earth some guys ride around with goggles as their only face protection though Even through my leathers it sometimes feels like someone has thrown a stone at me when some of those bugs hit.

I didn't care that they didn't show much of the racing...Those machines.

At some part during the program I could definitely hear a Honda 250-4 but didn't see it. I'd lop off a bollock for one of those.

I thought it was good, lots of interesting old bikes etc not bothered that they didn't show much of the racing.

I turned off after 5 minutes when I realised they weren't going to show any racing. I made the mistake of tuning in for itv4s coverage of the actual TT and sat through an hour of waffle with zero race coverage.

On a brighter note I discovered a program called superbike school which teaches you about track day racing. Pretty good I thought.
