My Hornet must weigh a few tonnes to do this at work...

Seriously..why use crappy tarmac if it's going to melt that much?

Meh, cheap tarmac that melts once every 4 years, or expensive stuff that doesn't.

Those gold plated mugs at the civil service don't come cheap.

They can use different types of bitumen, and in our country they tend to use the softer one as it's less likely to go brittle in winter.

I don't think I will be parking it there tomorrow. What pisses me off is that I parked next to a colleague's FZR600 and another colleague's ZZR600 and they did not suffer this!

mother in law just had her drive re-tarmac'd.. did this last week with the er5... oops! she's not impressed.

she ran out the other day to make sure i'd parked on the grass instead. told her it'd fall over and make divets, and put the side stand on the manhole cover for safety.

didn't have the heart to tell her it was cheap shite tarmac

I found my bike being held up by a parking bollard about a month ago,
bought a puck after that.

Work's car park had been ok until friday when I left a slight dent so using the puck there too.

I carry around an old Altoids tin lid to pop under the stand. I mostly park on grass though so I am more worried about it sinking into the mud.
