Alright, I know I saw this film a few years ago, and I'm pretty sure it's from around 2006 - 2010.

Imagine similar style to Lock Stock, Snatch, Rock N Rolla etc.

I think Vinnie Jones was in it too as some kind of mercenary for hire with a BIG desert eagle type gun. The main bits with him I remember is him getting shot at in an enclosed hallway and every shot missing him (I think). Not 100% sure though, as I've looked at his films on IMDB and not one sparks a hint.

Another distinguishing bit I remember is a lot of running around to get something/someone and the main characters end up putting an elderly guy who they were trying to rob/kidnap (or something) into the boot of their car for whatever reason, and drive off with him. They get into a car crash somewhere down the road, body goes somewhere and I can't really remember what happened next...

I'm usually fantastic with films but this one escapes me Confused

Much karma given to identifier!!

For some reason Layer Cake springs to mind.
Except with the desert eagle it's snatch.

Sounds like you are mixing up the movies, but its mostly Snatch.

Boris (the "old guy" ... do you mind, he's a bit of alright for a Johnny Foreigner) ... is in the boot of Bullet Tooth Tony's (Vinnie's) car

How far to the Russian's?

... but then he escapes when the car ends up mounting a bollard, causing one passenger to stab himself somewhat with a very large sword

... the boot of the car pops and Boris gets out, staggers about in the middle of the road with a bag on his head, and gets knocked over by someone else's car, cos they cant see cos they have milk all over their windscreen (I think).

But somehow Boris ends up in the enclosed hallway in the pub (with some mad shooter that Boris picks up from his house) in a shoot-out with Bullet Tooth Tony (with the Desert Eagle).

Boris eventually dies - I think it takes about six bullets.

Not seen ?Rock and Rolla.
Is it any good?

Oh how embarrassing. I knew I'd seen it, just didn't realise that was the one I was trying to remember haha!!

Laughing

Yeah, I've seen Layer Cake too (just once) but elements of Lock Stock and Snatch merge into one for me, as Jason Statham is essentially the same character in all his films lol.

Right. thank you all. I'm going to retreat into my corner now and feel sorry for myself.

Hellkat - yeah I quite liked Rock N Rolla, nice cast and decent laughs!
