Its not to do with the type of person you are - your first off puts things into perspective, and you'll find you'll be more cautious and a little slower anyway for the initial few weeks.
Glad you're okay though, nowt broke |

You'll recover soon enough, it's only natural to be apprehensive after something like that. Just take it easy and it'll come back to you before too long. It doesn't sound like any major error on your part, I imagine you lost/ locked/ slid the front and lowsided.
CG125's are virtually indestructable as you've no doubt seen. The scraped footpeg, mirror and brake lever can be left as they are, they'll take an awful lot to break them. (I haven't managed it yet and my bike's been down the road several times, and my clutch lever is styled by Dali after I dropped it slipping on moss.)
You do have a few things to be glad about though. One, that your arm didn't get broken. Two, that you didn't hit the van, and three that the CG is as cheap as chips and pretty much indestructable. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

Sorry to hear that mate, I well know the feeling of landing on your arm. Went out on my bike for the first time in 2 months and rode really slow if it was possible. Seemed to have a mental problem with corners though, slowing down far too much for them, cos there's something in my head saying "DO NOT CRASH", so I need to try and get past that. Had a bit of a worry after about 2 minutes though, going round a roundabout, tried to avoid a drain cover and felt the back end go, put the wind up me a bit and that's when I started riding a lot more "defensively" I guess as I was alright before that.
Anyway, as others have said your bike's pretty much indestructable so you haven't got many worries there, and just take it easy for a bit, build up your confidence again and you'll be fine . ____________________ TS50 > Senda 125 > ZXR400 > CB-1 > GSX-R1000 > Bandit 600 > ZXR750 H1 > GSX-R750 SRAD > '98 RR-W Fireblade > T595 Daytona > Hornet 900 > '04 Fireblade > GSX-S1000F (x2) > '23 XSR900 |

Hey, hope your feeling better. I was in an accident about a month ago and the same thing happened to me. It's not about if your nervous or not. I think it has to do with your brain and bad experiences. It'll just take time to build your confidence again. Hope you recover soon . ____________________ Kawasaki ZZR 400 | K5 GSX-R 600 |
