I'm aged 19 and am planning on taking my A2 test soon and am having trouble finding a suitable bike. I prefer naked bikes and am looking for something which would be comfortable to ride over long distances, preferably with panniers/topbox. I've been looking at a BMW R 850 R classic which i really like the look of and which seems to be very good value for money but don't know if it can be easily restricted down to the required 46bhp. Any help or suggestions would be great!

Injection = easiest way would likely be a throttle stop.

Speak to the local dyno places, see if they've done it before and what they'd charged. I spoke to a guy with a Moto Guzzi who got raped £180 just to have a screw put in this throttle body. It was a very nice blue screw, admittedly.

Of course, what really matters is having a piece of paper saying "Is 35kW honest" which will cost about 5p in paper and ink, and answer most questions even if the restriction "falls off".
