hello all , i am a new member here so will let you all know a wee bit about myself , my names dave i am 20 years old and study motorcycle mechanics at motherwell college , currently i own a HONDA CG 125 TURKEY BUILT M1 VERSION 2002 model with electric start , i purchased this bike about 4 months ago for £120 as it was a cat c stolen recovery so v5 had to be applied for , the bike was in a very poor state and i have since put a fair bit of sweat + money into this small bike to get me on the road , i honestly had the bike just about finished when my brother stupidly leaned on it causing the bike to fall and for the speedo clocks to get damaged , the speedo is not working atall and just jumps about i have tried numerous times to repair it but its too far gone , anyway long story short does anyone have a speedo that could fit my bike it would be massively appreciated and would mean i could get on the road for my 21st birthday hopefully if anyone could be of help please get in touch thanks again , dave

Looks in really good condition.

You'll have no problem selling it when you move up to a bigger bike.

cheers , just curious as it will always have the CAT C on V5 , how much would you value it at once its fully MOT'D and taxed , I also plan on changing the kick , handlebars , gear lever , shocks ( maybe ) , front tyre and paint the engine I think once this is done it will look brand new and hopefully put the value up.

As long as the person looking at the bike knows what they are looking at and see the bike has been repaired to a good standard I can't see the cat C having a major impact on price.

thanks for your advice I would say this bike has so far been repaired to a very high standard and its only going to get better once its on the road ive just worked out what I have into this bike so far , £120 for the bike and roughly £600 for parts never thought it would have been so much
