PostPosted: 10:54 - 08 Dec 2004    Post subject: one up for me - and some bother. Reply with quote

I took the family out for a meal last night and just as we started to eat I got a call on the moby from a lad who lives across the road from me. Said he had seen two guys go into my back garden and should he call the police. I said yes and headed off home super quick.

I went into the house and nothing, went out of the back door and could see the side door of my garage open and the light on. I took a quick look through the window and there were two guys about 18ish trying to undo the locks on the bike.

Now being a bit of an oldie and more sensible I decided not to confront them, not a coward at all, I didnt think battering the shit out of them was really enough. So I left it up to KAZ to sort. Now KAZ is not my wife or one of the kids but the meanest people hating junk yard german shepherd ever. Except with me of course.

Now the fun bit was she came over nice and quietly and in through the open garage door, which being the sensible guy i am I closed.
holy shit. all hell broke loose . The sight of two 6 foot lads cowering in a corner was a sight to behold. I could see a few ripped clothes a wee bit of blood and the dog just sitting about 2 feet away from them growling like mad every time they tried to move. At this stage the calls for help almost made me piss myself with laughter.

All the fun was spoilt after about 15 minutes when the police turned up. And funny, you just would not believe it. No way was the police going in that garage and kept asking me to call the dog off. The lads were almost begging to be arrested and I stood at the door saying the dog only understands two words, Walkies and kill. One of the lads was almost in tears telling me not to keep using the "kill" word as is makes the dog growl and cant it go for walkies.

The police could see i was enjoying myself and just let it go far enough before insisting it ended.

I took the dog in and the police collected the lads and put them in the van. One of the officers came over and said did I know there could be a problem because of the dog but seeing as I had a clearly marked sign which clearly states guard dog on premises then i should be OK but make sure its back up by tomorrow as its fallen on ground. HAHA. Now all I have to do is go out and buy the sign.

Well sorry if its a long post but it really made my day.

Got to be honest here, I have a moby with a cam and the thought of taking pics never entered my head. Missed a trick there.

Police have just called my wife as she was concerned about the dog etc. she was told that the two scum bags were going to make an official complaint about the dog etc but after their solictor spoke to the aresting officers who said "not only was it clearly signed about the dog but the dog itself has free access to the garden via a rear door flap and followed them in" They were advised that it would just make matters worse and they agreed not to complain.

Dam clever dog, closes doors as well....As for the sign and dog flap, The Mrs picked a sign up from B&Q and the flap is for our cats. The cats are called Tiger and Leopard. ha

Little shits. They do wrong and then make out their the victims. I always rely on 2 simple phrases.

1. If you weren't where you shouldn't have been- you wouldn't have got hurt.

and

2. I'd think about making this complaint against me/you/them because don't forget- i can find out where you live- and i've got plenty of time...... Shocked

Respect! Thumbs Up A very topical story. Why not ring your local newspaper? They will 'name and shame' the thieves, whilst at the same time give notice to the other scum in your area that your house is well protected and not to bother you again!

Clapping Clapping

Buy that dog a large lump of prime steak, and the neighbour a few pints. A job well done.

Hope the scum get a hefty sentence too, they'll probably only get a slap on the wrists, but then again you know what they look like and can take the dog walkies whenever you see them out on the street Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Bloody hell! The image of 2 grown men practically crying on the floor rips me to shreds! No pun intended. That was bloody hilarious, I really want a dog now. Confused

The dog is fine but has always been totally mental. I got her from a rescue home. She dotes over my 8 year old daughter and follows her literally everywhere never moving more than 3 feet away from her. Its great cos I get to let my kids go to the park and know the dog just will not let anyone near them.

It doesnt help that the cover in the dogs basket looks like burberry and she hates the basket because its where she goes when she has been told off. My Mrs reckons thats why she went totally ballistic because of the baseball cap. I reckon its because my little girls bike was in the garage and the dog got a bit "concerned"

Anyway, I will have to teach the dog a new command. CHAVIT.

Am i in a good mood or what....
