Crap in the road by the looks of it, either way he plays it off well and the "heyup" just before makes it the best reaction to knowing he's going to crash.

Just been consoling him on Skype. D: He's not having much luck with his SD, is he?

Hopefully PetrolHead can help him get it fixed up again.

Yeah last time I limped him to get it temp fixed to get him home, this time he can't blame me lol, good crash and he took it well.

It's that mental barrier that makes you tense up and go in a straight line rather than digging in and counter steering to fuck. It's a hard reaction to overcome as it feels against instinct, but pretty useful if you can!

You can see he could have easily made the corner, but he was probably put off by the crappy roads and thought he was going to slide it anyway. On my first day of riding after my test I nearly did that, mud on the road and I just tensed up and almost went up the grass verge, I rewatched the video and shake my head at my retardedness!

Looks a bit weird. Seems like a fairly easy corner. Maybe he started sliding a bit and just shat it.

A fairly potent 1000, but nothing special. I dare say would be dicked on by a CBR600F which many have hopped on to. Wink

But yes, I wouldn't have one as a first bike, but saying that.. I had a KH125, then a Daytona 600 for a week or 2 then a GSXR1000 for 6 months ish (on loan Very Happy)

Not dead yet.

Too far to the left on approach and when it wasn't going round basically gave-up.

Could've been a lot worse for him.
