bike exhaust sound

Good morning,

My 125 exhaust is making a funny sound when reved as if some grind metals are in the exhaust and wobbling when reved. I have checked the exhuast for loose bolts nuts vibration etc but all looks good.

I think baffle is there to reduce noise, or in another word a silencer.

Can it be tighten up or removed ? if removed will it be illegal and very load ?

would the performance increase? i guess I need to reject as well ?

if the baffler is loose guess there is no way to fix it

I'm by no means an expert and every exhaust is different. Performance will decrease, no idea by how much, could be a miniscule amount, or could be fairly noticeable. Problem with a 125 is that you haven't got much to begin with, so any screwing around you'll probably notice it, and it's a damn site easier to make it go slower than faster Very Happy

I took my last loose baffle to a local mechanic, and it cost me £20 iirc to fix.
