I'm thinking about getting my bike vinyl wrapped ww2 warbird style:

https://www.airpowerworld.info/ww2-fighter-planes/curtiss-p-40-warhawk.jpg

Was wondering two things:

1, is this stupid?

2, anyone able to photoshop this to give me an idea of how it may look?

cheers

Not your bike but I found some examples of people who've done it in the past:

Love the warbird style, but you need a certain type of bike to pull it off IMO.

I'm decent enough at photoshop, could help you out.

I like the warbird thing but I'm not sure a ZZR will pull it off.

WWII green wouldn't suit it.

Modern grey would though.

Like the style. Not sure how itd translate onto the zzr though. Fairings a bit of a perculiar shape might not look as obvious as some other bikes like ones shown in pics above. Maybe keep it minimal like colour and shark teeth? Get some clear lenses too or the orange ones will stand out like sore thumbs Thumbs Down

Do you offer photoshop tuition divvy Wink Question

I think its because the fairing only allows the eye to be up front near the headlight and signals it all looks a bit cramped compared to the other bikes.

I dont really look at that pic and see a shark. More a bike with a giant angry vagina down the side Thinking

Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree that the ZZR fairing won't work with the classic narrow shark face. It doesn't have enough 'snoutiness' compared to the warplane.

Anyhow these are my efforts, while not a carbon copy of the original style they still pay homage to it and are recognisable enough, hopefully more suitable for the ZZR fairing better as well.

Adjusted for frame across the fairing:

Slimmer version:

Hope that helps.

Last one's good. Thumbs Up

On the other one, i think the colour is letting it down a bit aswell, needs to have a bit more camoflauge added to it, instead of just the dark brown. Might make it work a bit more.

This Wink

Could always use a race fairing to give you more room and fit projector headlights somewhere suitable

I reckon you want it a wee bit more subtle. WOrks like this:
https://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/stinkwheel/zzrbird_zps2db1f67d.jpg

Or full cammo colours?
https://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/stinkwheel/zzr_zps5c8dcbe4.jpg

Incidentally. I've done the template now so if you want it a different colour, just say the word.

Done on GIMP, not photoshop.
