Hagon would get it set to your weight and riding style... I personally reckon swapping for a "personal" shock rather than bodging another bikes shock on there would be the far better option.

But thats just my opinion. Thumbs Up

Why fit another old shock to replace an old shock that is worn out?

Can you honestly say that you know what you're doing with regards to suspension set up where there would be any real world benefit for a fully adjustable rear shock?

Because a Hagon is £300, and a second hand gsxr shock which is of bettter quality than an OE bandit one with be about £50.

Spending a third of the value of the bike on one component is alot to ask.

It might not be as good, but I'd live with the shortcomings for £250 less.

I bolted a 09 zx6 shock into my Z750, made the world of difference, cost £30 and was brand new.

I'm keen to know how an R6 shock has more adjust ability than a GSXR one though.... Considering you said you know nothing about suspension?

Hagons arent that great imo. They seem to just be a basic replacement for an OE shock but with a spring to match your weight. Have fitted quite a few and they seem to be about the same as a new OE shock.

You'll find Nitron are also doing 'street' shocks now for not alot of money.

How long is the R6 shock compared to the Bandit one? Will it fit easy enough? Very Happy

Used that to set the R1 before El Spain trip. Made a world of difference with the luggage on there, you'd never know it was there Thumbs Up
