Agreed, the only pain in the ass bit of that is feeding the pipe out the roof space to the sofet, that can be fidly if your roofs cramped. Wiring wise they are very simple, I'd presume the kits come with instructions tbh

That in itself is a work of art. I can't even get one to answer their fucking phone or call me back to come and LOOK at a job.

I want to pay people money to do jobs for me. I have the money, I don't have lots of spare time but I still land up doing the jobs myself.

I heard a plumber whinging about how bad business was and how he has no money because of the recession the other day. I chipped in and told him I need a new mains water pipe putting into my house, a header tank putting in the loft and a new shower fitting. I can leave them the key to the house so they can get in any time and I'll pay cash as soon as the jobs finished.

All of a sudden he's too busy.

I had a plumber and general tradesman turn up early - on three occasions - do a tricky job quickly, conscientiously and cheerfully, and charge a reasonable price that didn't escalate when he hit unforeseen problems.

Bizarrely, there's no punchline. This actually happened, in 2013. This must be what Warped feels like when he accidentally tells an accurate story and nobody believes him.
