Having a high NU group bike at 21

Just wanted to know if there are any younger riders with bikes that fall into a high NU group. I shall be buying a bike later on in the year and wanted an idea of what others have managed to get hold of.

I've got a reasonably high insurance group bike

How high is high? mines group 11 (not exactly a ducati) and i'm 22, £250 tptf

Forget getting fully comp right now! and for that reason, i'd not own anything worth any more :/ (unless i was loaded enough not to care)

I got quoted ~£600 TPFT for a 96 Blade (NU17). Saying that, they also quoted me £750 TPFT for an 89 RC30. Would look nice sitting next to my NC30 Now where am I going to find the £8k to buy one???

I paid £500 TPFT on a zx6, under a year old, when I was 22.
The zx6 is NU class 14.

The main thing is to call as many companies as possible.

I could have got it cheaper considering everything but as I wasn't the one picking up the bill and the people who were are trying to spend a lot of money for some tax related reason I can't complain.

NEVER had an accident
8 years on a FULL bike license (makes a difference)

I was about to get a ZX6-r but then had a go on the thundercat which is abit of a forgotten bike. Ok not as powerfull etc but it keeps up with many bikes in terms of performance and is good for insurance being group 13. oh and it has fully adjustable suspension front and back so it can be set up to handle better.

I pay 395 TPFT with only a month past my bike test no NCB. I am 23.

Suppose I could make a comment.

23 years old, 0 ncb, £460 TPFT with £200 excess on a '99 ZX-6R (Group 14), day after I passed my test.

Spend a good few hours calling up companies. It may be boring but it'll be the quickest money you'll make/save - to begin with I was quoted £1200+!
