Dear Auntie BCF its been a while since ive applied for a new job and could do with some help with a cover letter.

This is the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working individual to join our team.
The successful candidate must possess qualities of attention to detail to do well and progress in this role.
Duties involve:
• Delivering products.
• Inspecting vehicle for operation.
• Loading and unloading products.
• Resolving clients´ complaints.

Successful candidates will:

• Be extremely polite and well groomed.
• Have IT skills.
• Have good interpersonal skills.
• Be able to complete paperwork clearly
• Have good written and spoken communication skills

How do i sell myself ? ive worked in warehousing for the past 8 years also with a few delivery jobs.
This is where im at so far

I have IT skills and can talk to anybody but i dont know how to get it in the cover letter with say I so much!

I am writing with reference to your advertisement regarding the position of warehouse person.

I feel my present and previous employment have given me the skills to suit this role. I have extensive warehouse experience along with occasional driving to trade shows. A keen eye is required in my current employment along with speaking to many customers and drivers on a daily basis.

You don't want to suit the role, you want to be the ideal candidate. You don't want "occasional driving" you want "commercial driving experience". Also you kind-of shift tense a few times which may or may not matter depending on who is reading the letter.

Still it's polite and short so whoever receives it will probably get as far as actually having a look through your CV. Depends on how many applications there are.
