look on wemoto as you'll be able to find the correct part for your vehicle,

Steady taking the cover off when doing a vara's oil filter it can spring out or may just sit there happily,

Careful not to pinch the O ring when re-fitting

can't remember how much oil it takes, I know it took more than we expected it to!

I am changing the oil and filter this weekend yes I am perfectly capable.

Does it take 1.5L? Am I cheaper buying a 'kit' from ebay rather than the filter and oil alone?

It says in the Haynes when I scanned through you need to replace the washer on the drain plug or something along those lines where to buy?

Your haynes manual should tell you how much it takes Question I just use a simple kitchen jug to measure mine in stages personally.

I never buy 'kits' as ive found them to cost more but it may be different for you.

Again, mine recommends replacing the o-ring on the sump plug i've never done this i just inspect it for damage and i've yet to have problems i think its more a precautionary thing but maybe not Question

You can't just use the search function on ebay?

Why are people entertaining this?!

It's just pure laziness. He has a bloody Haynes manual so obv knows what to do and get. He just can't be bothered

I don't think its laziness so much as very poor quality trolling.

Is there some sort of bike NSPCC that rescues vehicles in imminent danger of abuse?

It isn't laziness I work ten hours a day out of the house for twelve so when I am home I am far too tired to read.

I won't bother replacing the O ring then just oil and filter.

I start work at 7am, I finish at 8pm, I'm up at 0530 and I tend to swim after work so I get home at 2130ish.

And I STILL manage to use a search engine.

Typically I use 1.5l in the Vara but it comes out again in about 1000 miles anyway.

I would suggest getting the sump washer.

In the same amount of time you've spent asking the same fucking question you could have researched, bought and carried out all of the work on your bike.

Ebay link

er...if you're perfectly capable why do you need to ask these questions? and capacity wise, depends on the bike.

In other words, use google. mong
