I am going to have a go at getting my license soon, if i pass mod 1, but dont do mod 2 straight away, and in the meantime my cbt runs out, do i have to re take mod 1 after i renew my cbt?

You wouldn't have to do mod 1 again, but you do have to do the cbt again of course. That's exactly what happened to me actually.
The only time critical one is the theory test - if that runs out then for some stupid reason you do have to take mod 1 again.

So if your theory expires even though you've passed mod 1, you have to not only retake the theory for mod 2, but retake mod 1 Shocked

Two years from the day you passed. DSA are shitty, if you passed your theory test 1 year and 51 weeks ago, then passed you mod 1 it would only be valid for a week.
