Hey all, my first post so bare with me...

Can anyone tell me where to buy a chin curtain for my HJC FG-15 helmet. It came with one as standard but have lost it and need to buy a new one. I can find some in USA but postage is nearly £40 when the part itself is only £5 or so.

Cheers for any help guys I've searched almost everywhere Sad

Then ask them how much a new visor is and hold onto something sturdy when they tell you the answer.

Oxford products are the uk distributors for HJC. I know that they're still producing the FG-15, so therefore parts must still be stocked from them. I know the case when phoenix distribution were doing stuff for arai, any dealer that dealt with them was able to get them in.

In any case, go into a bike shop and "enquire" if you can "borrow" a chin curtain? Some of the places I've been do have been pretty useful in letting me do that FOC, err hm, Hein Gericke. Failing that, just checked on the internet that Racevisors stock the lids, so you could send them a quick email?

The service from those chaps are second to none. When my pinlock pins came loose from a visor the sold me, i got given a replacement for free inc del.

Lidsdirect sell tons of FG15 helmets and will no doubt have parts (they sent me a spare set of visor hinges once as the ones that came with the FG15 I bought from them was faulty)

Drop them an email or call and see how much?

I know, and it's still a lot of money for a bit of bent plastic. My last pair of prescription glasses only cost £65.
