I own a 2007 CBR600RR, its been serviced, oil filter, oil, spark plugs etc.
it's got a Jardine back box, but under and around 5k revs the fueling feels like its bogging, keeping the throttle in position it sounds like the fueling isn't right.
Letting off the throttle while still accelerating, it sounds like its bogging down, any ideas what this is? throttle position sensor?

Any cheap standard cans on eBay? Put one on and see if the problem is still there.

Tbh it must be the fueling, or the throttle position sensor.
Yeh I could have a look but then if its the same, I'll have to spend 300 doe anyway for a Power Commander, I looked at the filter, its K&N, I've been told they use K&N filters standard though.

My Beowulf is the same without the baffle, fuelling feels off.

You'll need a baffle or power commander

If you have a SET valve then remove it and it will run better.

But an after market exhaust plus race filter = mapping issue.

I bought a PCIII off a site for £100 so check ebay and forums for one. There's nothing wrong with the bike it's just your fuelling.

If there's a tuning place near you go and pop in as they might be able to re map the ECU on your bike then there's no need for a PC.

If you decide to get one then I recommend getting your bike dyno'd so the can make a custom map for your bike. But that will add another £150 onto your spend

Thumbs Up

No difference was noticed on my CBR when I swapped cans.

Either buy a power commander or a stock can.

This.

It wants a power commander and dyno time.

Nothing else will sort it.

So you either;

- Buy a stock can.

- Buy a Power Commander and give it to someone to tune up.
