4tb HDDs..

Now apparently some PCs wont recognise a HDD has 4tbs of space.. how do I know if my PC will recognise that extra space?

So far as i know the only limiting factor should be the file system format. Provided it's NTFS and not FAT32 you're all good.

What motherboard do you have?
You may have to download an application from the drive manufacturers website that will partition the drive correctly for you, I had this issue with a 3TB drive a couple of years back

I have a 4TB internal drive and had no issues. However, you feel like you've been fucking robbed when you format it and it only has a usable 3.6TB Sad
