as title says got my bandit dynojetted today and got confused as when I took it in he done a quick run to check it out and it came up 71.6 hp but on the 13/11/04 it was 75.3 but to the point it started today at 71.6 and ended up coming out at 74.6 but now its got a k&n filter, irridium plugs, dynojet , slick 50 and noisy can but what it didnt make in peak power it made up in torque its now got 39.0 ft lb i will get the dyno sheet scanned and stick it up tommorow see if any can make sense of it ____________________ WHAT DO YOU MEAN 100 MPH THATS IMPOSSIBLE I STILL HAD 3 GEARS TO GO OFFICER. dyno tests are like fingerprints.......no two are ever the same! every single factor will change how an engine makes power and torque, air temperature, relative humidity, barrometric pressure, even how old the fuel in your tank is, power always changes but you can generally guess what it is making at the wheel plus or minus 5%, when I had my 2004 Kawasaki ZX-6R 636cc dyno tested with a micron serpent system power commander III K&N Air filter and moddified intake stacks my results were : 104.4hp, 103.7hp, 114.0hp and a final reading of 118.4hp weird huh! IDEALLY I would like to see what it would produce in an air conditioned climate with a humidity level of 26% and air temperature of 22 degrees celsius ____________________ Those bloody footpegs......they ought to do away with em! |

More by lowering the Gamma and brightness, and increasing the Contrast slightly. Far from perfect, but better definition anyway. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

Hi
The top end differnce is only small, and possibly within the errors for temperature change, etc. However realistically you have gain a small amount there, but probably not enough to actually feel.
Biggest thing you seem to have gain is a very large improvement between 4000 and 6000 (a hole quite possibly caused by putting on a can without setting the carbs up). At 5000rpm it looks like you have gain about 25% more power.
All the best

yeah I dont know bout top end but pulling off its a hell of a lot better and easyer it seems to want to go now as soon as I let the clutch out rather than waiting for 5000 rpm. I used to have to wait till it hit 5000 rpm but now it shoots up to 5 then shoots quicker upto 12 well compared to what it was its a lot better ____________________ WHAT DO YOU MEAN 100 MPH THATS IMPOSSIBLE I STILL HAD 3 GEARS TO GO OFFICER.
