I am thinking of applying for my provisional license on wednesday
Will I need 2 do a CBT test thigny to ride a yamaha ninja 125??

translation: I'm hoping losing my license didn't invalidate my theory and CBT, I get paid on wednesday and need to reapply for my provisional

Didn't Paddy lose his license three or four times? He might know.

Failing that, a robust gambit of "Don't know what you mean, old chap, the last fellow with a clipboard ticked the box" might suffice.

Yes, you will need to take the tests up to where you were when you lost your licence. If you had a car AND bike licence you only need to take the test for one as the other will be added automatically if you pass.

Yeah, unfortunately you will have to redo CBT and theory.

Am I right in thinking that the cbt certificate has the driving licence number on it? if so then it would seem like another cbt has to be done.

Do I get a new driving number then?
Then how can the points be carried over to the new license?

It's a bit of a weird one, as it's contradictory of either way
did some googling, lot of people saying I have to, lot of people saying I don't if it's still valid (I got it in Jan '12, thanks to my signature I knew that)

Seems retarded to have to do CBT, but theory and mod 1 and 2 I can understand

You have not LOST a license.

You have merely been reverted back to a learner again.

So the whole test procedure needs to be redone from the start.

Wait does that mean Alpha could just do the car test, pass, and automatically get all his motorbike qualifications back too?

If that's the case, then just doing Car theory + Car practical might be a better deal than having to redo CBT + Bike theory + MOD 1 + MOD 2
