I've just been reading the gov.uk website and noticed that for the DAS there's no engine capacity mentioned, just a minimum of 40kW (53.64 bhp) of power. Seeing as my UK spec, non VVC GSF400 has a book power of 59 bhp would I be able to take my tests on it or is there a list of acceptable bikes that it may not feature in?

Forgive the daftness of the question but the idea of training and taking at least my Mod 1 on my own bike has sent my scrooge senses into overdrive!

I think you have missed a trick some-where.

Came from here but I think I got it around my arse and it comes under the general Full A motorcycle licence heading.
