Every time this comes up I say visit https://www.techmoan.com/blog/category/action-cameras he does loads of reviews of cameras, there's bound to be one or two in your budget...

Also, it might be worth either

a) Avoiding the Contour range
b) Grabbing yourself a bargain from the Contour range when prices plummet

as I've just learned that Contour have gone out of business https://www.geekwire.com/2013/contour-closes-seattle-hq-surprises-employees-execs-mum-status-gopro-rival/

Wow. That really sucks as someone who recently bought a Contour. I thought their product was meant to be the best over Go Pros etc.

It will be interesting to see how the prices go on Contours now.

I have a Contour too, it's still a great camera. Seems that Contour never really got the hang of marketing so had trouble raising money. I'm hoping for a price drop as retailers try and dump stock ASAP. I'd like a plus 2 and at least another roam 2

I know I'm resurrecting a 6 month old thread, but this subject keeps re-occurring. Just to tell you all that Tesco have the Contour Roam on sale at £84.50.
