 |
|
Hi,
I am just wondering if anyone knows where the best place is to locate an alarm and a small tracker on this moped? I have put the tracker temporarily in the glove box but this means I have to charge it every day and that's a pain, so ideally, the location should be near a permanent positive wire/cable that I can splice into for the tracker to charge itself throughout the day. Similarly, My alarm currently works off a small battery and I would like to connect this also to the bikes battery, this will improve the loudness of the alarm and save me a small fortune in batteries!
My bike was not bought from new, so I don't have any warrantee to worry about losing .
I have fitted alarms and trackers to cars in the past, but on a little moped, it is so much more difficult to locate them as there is very little space for anything extra under the body work!
I have to stress that I am completely new to mopeds or bikes of any kind, so please be patient enough to explain exactly where you mean in fool proof terms as I will probably have no idea what you mean if you use abbreviations or bike only related tech terms.
Thanks in advance for understanding and for taking the time to reply. |

Whats the spec on the alarm/tracker?
Do they take +12v input on em or will it need some form of transformer? Either way i'd fit em both in the seat bowl & extend +12v lead to suit. Loads of space in there! ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.
