AFAIK clocks are required by law. Indicators prob OK as you can do hand signals. Mirrors are not required by law.

But someone will prob post otherwise Laughing

My understanding (which is in no way a good one) is that you can ride without indicators as long as you know hand signals, but if they are installed they MUST work. So if you have broken one, take thm off and your legal again. I think this is how it works anyway.

The only clock you have to have is a speedo, which could just be a £10 push bike one from Halfords.

You don't have to have indicators, can't say I've ever heard that you have to know hand signals as I would have thought it is fair to assume people know them. Confused

That sounds about right to me.
Indicators can be done away with if the indicator switch is removed or covered up I believe, and clocks are a must unless the bike is not capable of more than 25mph.

Um... Maybe he has a mountain bike speedo that makes it all road legal.

My TT600 will end up looking a bit like that when its finished.

Oh and mountain bike speedos can be unclipped so that people don't nick 'em! Smile

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

most ex sportbikes which have been streetfightered is because the bikes been trashed at some point and rebuilt
fairings are expensive.

You havent even begun to mention Ratbikes. Mr. Green

Streetifghters arent like the GSXR posers. At least theyve (or appeared t have) put in work to their bikes.

I liken weekend warriors on their bikes with matching leathers to sports car drivers who take them out on a sunday

i recon people with (crap) streetfighters, not proper nice ones that are professionally done to Nova/saxo/corsa boys

people with nice streetfighters like properly done ones i liken too proper car modders who really make their cars nice!
