Where to start,
I'm 15 & new to Bikes but not nuts & bolts, my dads been messing about with anything with an engine all my life. on his advice I've bought a project Suzuki TS 50X rolling frame, rust & a few other bits!
I've got till Febuary to finish it.
The old bloke won't let me have a bike unless I have an understanding of every thing about them, so you'l all probably be hearing a bit from me. Thanks Chimp[/img]

TS50X is good fun. First thing to do is throw the exhaust in a hot fire to burn the carbon off / make it crack off. Then fit a larger main jet to the carb, then remove the baffles to the exhaust.

Smile

Actually, don't do any of that. You'll achieve 1mph extra top end, but make it pointlessly loud and run poorly as well as snapping an exhaust bolt!

Most importantly, what colour is it? Are the wheels still gold?

Cheers guys
Bike was bought from E bay looking a complete wreck Started out Yellow & Blue, but we've bare metaled the frame & suspension, Frame is being painted in 2 pack polyurethane black not yet sure about the tank & panels yet. Dad was a sprayer when he left school years ago so paint works no problem (he's just bought a new 150ltr compressor)
new wiring loom came yesterday (part butchered from a breaker but we've made a complete loom from it)
Wheels are shot so I'm getting them re spoked rims are chrome. When I get a cheap engine to rebuild I'll be OK!
