Dianese didn't do well for me. I think they are considered 'one crash', which makes them very expensive.

Crowtree always get good reviews in rider power. If you are spending over £500 I would say go for custom made one way or another. I didn't and regretted it.

Remember, no-name leathers that fit you properly may well save you better than a set of Alpinestars that are baggy here and too tight there.

DYNAMIC Leathers for me, on my third pair now, reason for this is
they fit me in all the right places. ( and because the are cheaper
than most brands)

Mind you I need new leathers again because I have holes in them
which are wear and tear holes. Might try HG next time.

Hein Gericke and they ALWYAS come near the top in RIDE test. Not too expensive either.

Just because GP rides use certain brands, doesn't mean that they're any good.

I wear Diablo Leathers, one of J&S's own brands.

I recently crashed in them and there was no damage to them at all. All the stitching held up and they fit me properly and for £170 there not bad value!

I agree with Bendy. It's not so much the make as the fit.

All makes have different cuts which will, inevitably, suit different people.
Personally, from all the leathers I tried the only 'off the peg' two piece that fitted me are my current Dainese set. Even these I had to have altered. If and when I need new leathers, I will be wanting some made to measures.

I bought a die easy suit last time and although the quality was absolutely brilliant my body didn't fit any of the off the peg suits that well leading to a saggy bum and bits that didn't fit that well.

Next time a custom suit will be my choice, crowtrees are my first choice.

BKS are custom made to measure suits. They are very high quality and very well made. You can pick and choose the colours and style.

A mate of mine has a BKS suit that cost £1000 about 10 years ago. It's still in very good condition after an off.

I know some police riders get to choose to there own kit and most choose BKS because of there good reputation.
Good enough for them.....good enough for me.

Bellstaff for me. Been down the road in them and they stayed intact, armour stayed where it was supposed too and I wasn't hurt in the slightest as a result.
