Skiing superstores are the place to go for thermals. They are usually really thin but warm and allow easy movement. A lot cheaper than the stuff they sell for on bikes.
Army surplus shops do some good kit too, don't know what I'd do without my swedish army, towelling lined, long-johns. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |

I wear JOCKEY thermals, been wearing that brand for years and
they are comfy.
I have bought new thermals for this winter because the old pairs
are getting a bit too tight due to constant washing. Tried a different
brand this year, bought them ONLINE from https://www.tooled-up.com/
and those are thicker and better than jockey.
I used to get Jockey from M&S but couldn't get them this year. |

If you don't have that much available chuck as much on your torso as possible. If you keep your upper body warm the rest of the body should stay relatively warm. I usually wear a T-shirt, Honda Fleece and my textile jacket with winter lining to keep out the cold. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. Well if you get a textile jacket, they usually come with an inner lining that can be taken out in the summer, I then wear a T shirt under this and it is still cool. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it.
