Hey, I fancy a change on my bike and have seen a few decently priced front and rear 6 spoke wheels from early to mid 90's cbr 600's

My question is will the fit straight on to a 1999 Honda Hornet? Will I need to use hornet wheel bearings or anything like that?

I know the fireblade six spoke fronts and rears fit, I think?

Thanks for any info. Smile

Did try the search but it never seems to actually work for me.

Edit: unsure on whether the fireblade 6 spoke wheels will fit? Any one know?

Looks like they run 160 sections, you are probably running 180 sections as you have the Fireblade rear wheel as standard.

Hmmm I may just repaint mine then as the paint on them is pretty crap, just need the energy to do it, although I don't think there is a huge difference in price between buying spray paint and getting them powder coated.

Powder coat = cost of bearings also.

Plastidip or proper job with spray cans, best options.

Bearings aren't too expensive, think I may just go with spray paint anyway.

Spray job is ~£12 per wheel I reckon for an OK job.

Powder coat for both my wheels was £80 Laughing

Also, TL is back if you fancy crashing having a quick go.

Where would you be finding this cheap spray paint as I am looking at about £25 per wheel including primer and clear coat. Sad

I would like to ride, sorry, crash this beast at some point. Thumbs Up

I'm thinking of keeping it yellow, unless something else catches my eye. Twisted Evil
