Poloshing RS125 frame?

HI,
What do you use to polish the frame on bikes with?? I think the frame on the RS125 is aluminium but im not 100% sure. Could I use auto-sol or would that damage the bike?

I've always used Auto-Sol to clean up Ally on any of the bikes I've had and it's always done the job really well.

Not sure what your frame is coated with but if it has the same coating as many japanese bikes getting that coating off is a royal pain in the bum hole.

To rid the coating I use a polishing kit and a fat powerful drill and a dremel for the nooks and crannies.
Once the coatings gone wet and dry untill baby bum smooth then autosol to polish and smooth off a bit more then brasso polish to get a real mirror like shine. I find autosol is good but it's a shade abrasive for really smooth finishes, once I have the best possible shine with autosol I swap to brasso.

Does polishing leave the material more easily sub-sep-ti-ble(I didn't know how to spell it, gimmie a break!!! ) to rust?

My foot peg bracket type thingymajig is jiggered with scratches n' crap like that, mainly from the previous owner, can that be polished? Bikes an er-5.

If it's steel it will rust but aluminium dulls and goes manky if not polished and look after regular.

Yeah, I'd be guessing its aluminium. Going home for chrimbo and will be bored out of my brain so may as well do something decent with my time. Must order a rear hugger too....
