 |

Im going to have a look at a couple of street triples over the weekend, and was just wondering if there's anything to look out for on used models, does anyone who has owned/ does own one have any tips? Thanks ____________________ Ybr 125 > Bandit 650SA > GSXR 600 > Triumph Sprint St1050 > CB1300 > Z1000SX + FJ1200 (written off) > VFR750 >FJ1200 |

If you can get it for just under 6k then i think you have an amazing deal. The accessories alone are around 1k brand new and with only 2k miles on it thats very tidy.
I start to feel like i got screwed over with mine, 5k with no accessories and 9000 miles on an 09, tis an R tho. |

brand new for that cheap? doesn't quite sound right to me, was looking at a 2013 one with about 2k miles on it for 6,700, if they are that cheap I'd be interested what dealers that? ____________________ Ybr 125 > Bandit 650SA > GSXR 600 > Triumph Sprint St1050 > CB1300 > Z1000SX + FJ1200 (written off) > VFR750 >FJ1200 |

I bought a standard one. It wasn't enough, I ended up doing a lot of work to it, ended up like this:
https://img850.imageshack.us/img850/1967/ac2g.jpg
Daytona rear shock, Ktech internaled daytona front end were major upgrades. It also had a large amount of carbon fibre, remus decat downpipes, open carbon cans, reflashed ecu, KnN etc.
Bottomless pit it was.
Also beware of bikes that have been fiddled with by oiks. There have been two recent Streets in at the local triumph dealer that have been grenaded by people loading incorrect tunes into the ecu. ____________________ Bikes: too many, too much for one man to maintain anyway. |

TuneECU is free and brilliant if you know what you're doing. If in doubt, fit a slip on an upload the TOR map for your chosen fuel. ____________________ Triumph Daytona 675 track bike + girlfriend's Honda Hornet 600
