Whats think then bcfers?

I have an old caravan that i did use for a few holidays but has not been used for about 10 years.

It is dry but properly old and I wouldn't want to be seen on a site with it.

It has a 3 way fridge in working order, oven, double hob and a heater which i was thinking of just smashing out and weighing in the rest of it to get rid to make way for a newer caravan that i plan to use.
The bits i rob out of it can go on ebay as they seem to sell well or do i just stick it on for £200 as is?

Ideally i need it gone before next thurs as then i can get new one delivered on the cheap rather than going 120 miles to pick it up.

decisions decisions

Anyone want a cheap caravan?

Weighing it in is no good, scrappys don't like em and you can't take bits of them to the tip either unless you discuise them

More info.

It should tow ok but it has been there several years but tyres are still up.
A couple of the legs are in need of fixing so i used jacks, they can go with it if needed as can the gas bottle, depends what you want to use the van for.

12v electrics were all working when last used as was all the gas, heater, hob and fridge. There is a battery but sure that will be worse than fucked by now.

Cushions all usable as are curtains but have all faded in the sun.

The skylight brackets got broken but is held in place with a couple of bits of wire, if being used properly should be replaced but for storage/office etc will do fine, no leaking.

Van is quite green but if you wanted i'd drag it out and jet wash it before you collect.

Some piccys.

The number plate light is broken.

Inside should be pretty good once i empty the ton of crap i've dumped in there and there is a lot of crap in there, all clean stuff, ot like gearboxes and petrol tanks, more like cardboard boxes of general stuff that needs dumping

https://i370.photobucket.com/albums/oo141/bramble43/null_zps0b18dcc8.jpg

All this crap is on the double bed at the front, there is bunk beds at the rear plus a washroom with sink on the right side.

I've had a look over last few days and don't think this is a bad price for it, the fridge in it would go for £100 or more and it's got a full oven, carver heater and other bits in case someone wanted to strip it for bits.

I'm sure the fridge is one of these

Before you get any ideas, it isn't a single sided swingarm model, and you can't put hitch risers on it.

I think you might be wrong on both counts.

It looks like the perfect candidate for Samuel Hughes. He's after an upgrade.

Strip and sell what you can then remove the body and convert it into a car transporter or large trailer for collecting project bikes etc.

It's what happens to a lot of older vans anyway.

If the PCD for the wheels is 4x100, and I can bolt a set of BBS split rims onto it, I'd consider it.
BUT, ideally I would want to camber the wheels too?...

On a serious note, I'm half tempted, depending on where you are in the country.

It's in Salisbury.

I may be up for delivering it at a price once i get tow bar bolted on, hopefully by the end of this week.

Towing it away on tyres that haven't been used in ten years, that have been exposed to the sun and had the weight of a caravan on them is asking for trouble, they will almost certainly let go at some point.

Quite possibly the point where it goes through the crusher.

I've driven cars on tyres that have stood over 10 years and managed to not be deaded yet. they are 13's so if anyone is really worried they can pick up a pair of new ones for £40

If you want; knock an ad up and I'll stick it up on a self-build motorhome site, as often people interested in the interior for their builds.

Sod the caravan, look at all those pallets! Take them to the next BBQ. Actually, why not strip it out and take the caravan? It would fit in the fire-pit and probably burn better than the benches did...
