So, the Sister-In-Law decided after seeing the Mrs pass her full bike test recently, she would do her CBT so she wasn't forced to ride a 50cc scooter. I loaned her my CBF, but she said it was too tall as she struggled getting her leg over Laughing She's 5'5 so not really short. Getting off was worse, having to pick her leg up as if it was a false leg. Using https://cycle-ergo.com we had a look around, the lowest regular Jap bike we could find was a Suzuki EN125. 2 inches lower than the CBF.

Found one relatively local to us, it was only £700 on ebay B-I-N with a years MOT and looked ok from the pics. Went over and haggled down to £665 as front tyre nearly gone and rear brake was erm broke. For a bike assembled in China and 7 years old, it's in really good condition, the engine looks pristine. Rides OK, but VERY slow, compared to the CBF.

Anyway, got it home and she was able to throw herself on and off and feet flat on the floor. Her housemate is 5'2 and she was able to get on and off (just). Worth a look, however this model appears to be an import only, I think it's based on a GS125ES or something.

Here is the ebay ad. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111147062870

The Yamaha SR125 and YBR125 Custom have quite low seats and are suitable for shorter riders.

I have the opposite problem, and actually found the SR125 I used on my CBT a pain to ride.
