COOL!
My first bike was a 1978 Suzuki GT125, red and black.
You'll see 85mph on the speedo, flat out, should be good for a genuine 75 to 80mph.
Never had a problem with mine, it was a very low milage example when I bought it.
Served me well for a couple of years, passed my test on it.
Can't remember selling it though. Went from that to a 250LC.
You've got a nice bike there! Cool Cool Cool Karma

I had an X4, some foreign version of the GT I think, little brother to the X5 and X7. Fun little bike.

It looks great! Thumbs Up

Your doing an immaculate restoration and I expect that there will be some decent future value in pre 82 sports 125's like that! It also looks much nicer than the slightly ugly Yamaha RD DX coffin tanked 125 twins, as does the X5 compared to the RD200DX.

They are super rare in the UK, I've only ever seen one complete bike, which I think was at Stafford a few years back. I think the later models are called X3 in the UK.
