Firstly I apologise if a similiar topic has been made but im on my phone and its not easy searching on it.

So my brother wants a motorcycle to go to college with aand to have some fun with.

He wants it yo be good looking, be reliable, a little fast and good for commuting along with good and fun for a ride.

The most important part is that it is cheap to buy and also cheap to insure.

Now the obvious answer may be a scooter but his arrogane doesnt allow him to ride one.

The best thing I can think of is a cbf 125, is this a good option or is there any better?

Thank you

A used CG125 or YBR125 will be cheaper than a CBF125. As for insurance it'll be about the same for all three.

You've answered your own question, a CBF125 ticks all those boxes. Well, it's at least a good compromise.

Yam RXS100

Faster than the 4 stroke 125's and for me the insurance was £60 for a year. (I am 35 yrs old) with no NCD
