It will continue to be a money pit if you keep throwing dérailleurs at it without finding out what's actually wrong.

I just don't know, I suppose you're right there. Like if a house was sinking in one corner, you wouldn't keep building up and letting it sink, you'd find the cause and sort it.

Do you reckon a stretched chain and worn cassette could cause it to be awkward to perfect? How about the cable?I notice sometimes the shifter thing on the bars doesn't click past 3 sometimes, why could this be?
