Traffic from College today was quite a lot, thought it'd be worth shoving up on youtube to laugh at them... Friend on his ZZR gave me the fingers as I passed him the first time, hense me laughing.

Mainly because it's safe, warm, dry and you have a radio.

The times I have to be in the car and get stuck on the M25 are all the more annoying knowing I have a bike!

Sod's Law eh Tungt~

Wafer, I'm still Warm and Dry.. I have earphones in for MP3's too, Could probably get radio reception but never tried Very Happy
Safe, on the other hand... That depends what kind of mood the people in the cars are in but that doesn't stop them rear ending you in the car and possibly giving you whiplash etc.

I followed a mate to a cricket match at the weekend, got caught in some traffic on the A3... I stayed behind him for a bit then went 'fuck it', found out what junction we were going off at then filtered through til then. I stopped at the junction munching a sammich for 10 mins til they turned up!

Because popping over to see a mate after work with my bass rig is inconvenient on a bike.

I had that attitude before I had a car and a bike.

I commute by bike whenever I can. I have used my car about twice in the last three months. In February it will be about the opposite ratio to that.

I don't know how about you, but I can't ride without my gear on which results in smell, it's mix of oil, dirt and sweat. Would you give me job in your business if I smelled that bad every day? Thinking Laughing

I have a 12-15 minute commute. Having to warm the bike up, whilst getting on protective boots, pants, jacket, gloves and helmet - putting work shoes into a rucksack, then taking it all off again at work, trying to find a decent place to keep it all safe and untouched, or hanging up in a wardrobe - where by the way, if i do get wet on the way to work, they won't dry - is all a giant pain in the arse for a 15 minute journey.

On a nice sunny day I'll go on the bike, but i'll leave early and have a bit of fun.

Simples.

Your video was 4 minutes long in that traffic. I'd sit comfortably in my air conditioned car for 4 minutes, rather than fanny about with a load of bike gear for 5 minutes each time.

Obviously, last year when I couldn't afford a bike or a car none of this was an issue because it was the norm - but when you have both, you'll see the light my friend.

His bike journey past that traffic was 4 mins long, but that'd easily be 30 mins in the car!

One of the girls from work tonight was saying it took her bus from college, 45 minutes to get into town.. Wink

I'll offer her a lift next time if she's due in for work like she was haha..

Finish College 1630
Bus won't leave until maybe 1640/1645
Due in at work for 1700... Fair to say she was 10-15 minutes late at least.

Don't copy that guy in front who went the wrong side of the island - cops are red hot on that because it might endanger pedestrians.

It's fun when the road is dry but great caution required when you and the cars can't see so well due to condensation and rain.
