Doing up the house for the missus stopped me getting the bike I wanted so far this year but I hope to change that soon.
Going to the NEC show and I've heard I can get decent discounts of riding gear there.
I have my eyes on some BMW gear to go along with the bike I'm buying. Are BMW likely to have discounted stuff at the show?

"BMW" and "You look like a tosser" aren't, though.

With the NEC if you are going anyway, then you can get some deals AND you can try on loads of stuff within walking distance of each other.
I wouldn't go just for bargains though.

As for the BMF, it is too far to nip to.

No. Bargains, nice though they are, are secondary.

BMW is more of a manufacturer presence with bikes on show and a few outfits in boxes. IIRC you couldn't buy any branded gear off them.

Overall, I tended to find the better bargains would be last seasons/this seasons leftovers, which is good if your not conscious about having the latest boots or leathers

Is this some Ewan-and-Charlie suit that you're after? If you're buying from a Motorrad dealer then I'd expect that negotiating for it with the bike will get you a better deal.

Or at least a bigger nominal discount, which will make your penis swell heroically after that domestic rolling-pinning from the missus.
