Muc off brush set.

Autoglym/Mucoff cleaners - i get the motorcycle specific stuff as im picky some will probably say theres little difference between them and car cleaning products in many cases but thats another debate Razz

Pack of dirt cheap toothbrushes for getting into the nooks and crannies, and cheap lint free kitchen clothes for wiping/drying.

Rarely bother polishing anymore to be honest, but if you ride in winter salt/wet weather often its probably worth it to keep it looking tip-top.

Autoglym intensive tar remover i've found is immensely useful for removing road grime/chain-flick/bug splats when its hard to get off with anything else.

I also use two buckets, one for washing the fairing and one for dowsing the brushes/mucky shit in to reduce the risk of scraping the fairing etc with grit and muck from bucket used for cleaning wheels/chain brushes.

Vax Steam Cleaner + Park Tools series of brushes which I normally use on my mountain bikes!

Steam cleaner is brilliantly effective at degreasing your wheels and the side plates of your chains and fairings.

Microfibre towel + Squeegee. One set for removing dirt and one set for drying off.

I don't need to worry about solvents anymore!

Diesel and bog roll.

I do have one or two brushes of varying lengths, thicknesses, etc. - but they get very little use. Might be different if I had a crosser, but as I do 90% dry road miles the bike stays relatively clean.

Had hoped this thread was about cleaning tools, any tips on restoring sockets etc back to their original chrome finish?
