Where to buy a cheap-ish front mudguard for a Honda XL 250?

It's a 1980 Honda XL 250sa. The mudguard it has now is a bit on the rough side and for the amount of sanding it needs to be presentable and paintable I thought it might be cheaper and simpler to buy another one, but I'm having a little trouble sourcing something that looks the part. It's a pretty big, chunky mudguard so I don't want to put a skinny modern-style one on there.

This is the closest match I've found - I guess it's the same size:

£30 inc p&p but it's secondhand so I'm wondering if a new one might be around the same price.

Why not a skinny one?

They often work better as they get less clogged up with mud etc.

Thanks G, I'll take a look through those. Would you happen to know if mudguards on dirt bikes are universal or are the bolt holes in different places?

They aren't universal, but should be easily enough bodgable I'd say.

I have a black Polisport one collecting dust in my shed. It's for a CRF250X. Bought it for my CRF250L but it wasn't quite a match and rubbed on the frame when turning

I used to have the XL250SA and when I needed a new front mudguard I looked at the standard type and went for a Preston Petty type in the end.But that was a few years ago now.But the standard bike looked like this

I'll have another quick go at sanding down the old mudguard but it's probably too far gone.
