All the others were sold at £22.50 it's just a way to get seen in the rankings. The seller puts up a range of sizes and colours, the one that shows in the rankings is priced high (they get to choose) then buyers click through and see an actually reasonably priced version and buy it. Either that or they're using some automated software and the price defaults to 999.99 if the seller forgets to enter one for one of the items.

Click on the 33 sold link. They have probably shoved the price up because their stock has run out but they don't want to have to re-submit the advert.

"Why is the item listed at £999.99
hobbyhomeuk : Unfortunately we have experienced a quality issue with this item.
We are working to rectify this, and when we have stock that we believe is fit for purpose, we will revert the item to its original selling price"

I could knit you one like that if you like. Smile Let me know your size and what colour and I'll get on the case...

Fuck me. Is this the Ariel Badger slow weekend? Several pointless topics with the last about jumpers?

Hang on it's not Sunday yet, still plenty of time for another 'what helmet/jacket/whore/junkie/made up hard man' post yet. Summer holidays are way too long for teachers.

this is done sometimes because of ebays stupid new rules when you want to end an item early, they may charge you the final valuation fee even though you may not have actually had a sale.

i spoke to busters accesories as i was after another moto batt battery for my bike and thats what they told me.
so once they have the items back in stock they will reduce the price to the correct amount.
this is to stop the sale of items which they dont have in stock as ebay have lost common sense and become very greedy.

i had a R1 listed in the classified section and i sold it but when i wanted to cancel the listing the warning came up and what makes it worse is that my listing was not an auction so i just had to let the listing run but write sold and make the price £1 million.

ebays new policy is rediculous just like you cant leave negative feed back as a seller

Does this affect the listing price?

Vehicles are a set £10 or £15 anyway depending on type.

And with the new changes it shouldn't really affect other listings, AFAIK there are only 2 price brackets <99p and >99p.

no it did not affect the listing price as it was a set £14.99 charge but it did not make sense that i should have received that warning from ebay.

Might I suggest that sir takes a trip to Edinburgh Woolen Mill, where a discerning gentleman will find nice cashmere sweaters for £45.
