First bike, first day out, I get rear-ended and the bike goes down. Now my handlebars aren't aligned with the front tire. When I hold the handlebars straight, the front tire points to the left at about a 10-15 degree angle.
How do I go about fixing this? The bars themselves aren't bent and nothing appears to be broken or damaged.
It's a Shadow VLX 600.

Either your fork stantions are bend (unlikely from a rear end) or the fork legs are twisted in the triple-clamps.

Look at the chrome part of your forks. Follow them up to the headstocks. You will find two sets of bolts on each fork leg, one on each of the triple clamps.

Undo both sets of bolts on each side, and then clamp your legs round the front wheel.

Twist the handlebars until they are straight.

Tighten up the bolts again.

You can often improve things by standing astride the front wheel, gripping it between your legs - then (very) firmly wrench the bars more to where they should be.
This isn't going to 'fix it' so much as make it feel better to get you home, or until it can be sorted properly.
